Baa baa black sheep have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full,
One for the Master, One for the Dame,
And one for the little boy who lives down the lane.
‘Thank you’ said the Master, ‘Thank you’ said the Dame,
And ‘Thank you’ said the little boy who lives down the lane.

Baa baa black sheep, have you anymore?
No sir, no sir, I am very poor,
There’s none for the Master, none for the Dame,
And none for the little boy who lives down the lane.
‘What now?’ Asked the Master, ‘What now?’ Asked the Dame,
And ‘What now?’ Asked the little boy who lives down the lane.

Baa baa black sheep, are you sure there is no more?
Yes sir, yes sir, my bed is the floor,
I have nothing for the Master, nothing for the Dame,
And nothing for the little boy who lives down the lane.
Now can I have some water? Can I have some food?
I've given everything away and I am living nude.
My wool won’t grow overnight and I am near to die,
So please pay me now or else I’ll say goodbye.

“Let’s kill him,” said the Master, “The sheep’s no use to us”
The Dame frowned to hear “but I guess it saves the fuss.”
The little boy was sad and made a last request,
He dug the sheep a grave and laid him down to rest.

‘Thank you for the sheep Lord, thank you for the wool,
I’m sorry he was killed Lord, we were such a fool.
Now I understand Lord, it’s not that he was bad,
It’s not that he was lazy, or ungrateful of what he had.
The sheep was nice and happy, he was generous enough,
We just wasn't thinking that he was living rough.
Let us think for next time, with another chance,
That sheep are not just for us to make them sing and dance.’
Yes, this is meant to be a longish, sad and depressing version of baa baa black sheep, since I was feeling very down and strangely the concept of consumerism just happened for pop into mind whenever I thought about the nursery rhyme of baa baa black sheep... Not exactly sure why, but this is the result of my strange mind at work after having a rather stressful day...

Feel free to comment or debate it as much as you want...

Btw I will make it clear now, that I did not intend to make this to insult or offend anyone, this is seriously just my way of letting off steam with no thought other than what I've told you - it's purely based off the thought of what consumerism is or what it can do... I just ask that you comment respectfully and/or with constructive criticism... thanks
